Many families return each year to participate and it is not only the small children that enjoy the day. The first two places were taken by girl singers, the winner was superb and will be a big name one day. Thomas came third which was very commendable considering that the judges were, The Blackpool beauty queen, a former musical show singer, the marketing manageress from Dominos pizzas and Robin Dukes the entertainment editor of the Gazette. A very experienced writer and critic who has judged many contests and can discern a good act from a bad one.
