Teachers
Are you a circus performer within easy reach of Blackpool? If so you could join our bank of skilled circus artists that teach at our various workshops. We run these on a weekly basis when we book a local school or centre, we also run occasional workshops for Junior Schools and High Schools for their children and for these we often need new teachers. We pay our teachers at rates agreed by the management committee.

If you think you can help, please contact us by sending your CV – and areas of interest in teaching plus details and date of your last CRB ( Criminal Record Bureau) check. All organisations working with children, young people and vulnerable adults are required to ensure their staff and trustees do not present any danger to their clients. This is done by registered people organising strictly confidential checks on the backgrounds of potential staff using the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) as a source of information. The decision whether or not to engage potential staff is taken by the Circus School Trustees based on the advice from the registered person. Management Committee
As we are a Charity we have a group of interested adult volunteers who form our Trustee Board and management committee. Their skills are in managing an organisation with some specialisms about Teaching, Young People, Finance, Governance and Circus Management.

We are always ready to hear from local adults who feel they can help in the management and future of the Circus School. We especially are looking for people who can assist with our bids for Buildings for our own Circus School Base. People with negotiating and committee skills that can assist the school in developing plans for the future would be a valuable addition to the management team.
